Timothy Blair

Announcer

I was born on the 14th of October 1985 in Georgetown, Guyana. I spent most of my life in the city and a fraction of it in the country which gave me a great appreciation for both. The tiger is known to be my favorite animal in the world among others. I love to be in nature taking in the scenes of God’s handy work.

Having been given the gift to express my praise to God through the musical voice, I was call to music ministry has a young child and I have been using my gift to bless hearts all over. I recorded and released my first single in Guyana in 2006 and perform at many venues in Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. I left Guyana in 2007 and came to Trinidad and Tobago to start my music ministry. I had some difficulties over the last few years and I when I thought that God had forgotten me, He came through right on time. I will be releasing my first single in Trinidad in mid May, 2010 along with a few others singles later in the year.  I am also preparing to launch my first album next year. Thus far God has been great and wonderful, even through my crucibles.

However, my desire was always to be my own boss and to be in fulltime ministry and for two years I fought the battles until God brought me to a turning point. That was when I met with Pastor François, who through God gave me the opportunity to do just that. Though being in fulltime ministry is challenging at times.  So even has I forge through this year, my prayer is blessings beyond imagination for not only me but Resurface and its friends.

Joann Spencer

Program Director

I was born on the 17th January 1975. I grew up in a single parent home with six siblings. I’ve been a Seventh Day Adventist since I was a baby. I got married at the age of 20 to now deceased Aldrin L. Spencer. I am the mother of four children, 15 year old Shaquille, 13 year old Shakeem, 10 year old Sheria and 6 year old Sheaquan. These little people are indeed the joy of my life after God.

Resurface Radio is without a doubt a gift from God to me. It was sent just when I told God, I’m ready to do this. From June, 2009 to now I have seen God work in an awesome way in my life, day after day I give him praise for his love and goodness. Brethren, we are a chosen people a royal priesthood, preparing for heaven atlas. Let’s do what we’re called to do, not letting our faith waver.

I know heaven is gonna be great as long as you’re there. So trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. God loves you and I love you, so take care now.

Robert Dilworth

Announcer

I was born in the beautiful island of Jamaica. I became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1993. My favourite fruit is mango, however, I love fruits in general.  I am happily married to the beautiful Rachael Brown Dilworth, who is a daughter of the soil. I lived in England for 14 years and during that time served the church in all its departments and almost all offices.

Radio has been an integral part of my childhood and education and has continued to be a source of information and entertainment in my adult years. It is his desire to share the love of Jesus with the world by any means. However, being technically minded, I am particularly keen to use technology to spread the Good News of Jesus. Resurface radio has become an exciting and interesting development in my life, because it had been my desire to work in media, TV to be specific. With God as my guide I know all things are possible and where He leads, is where I want to follow.

Pastor Damieon Lewis

Damieon D. Lewis hails from the love tri-island state of Grenada, Cariacou and Petite Martinique, where he was born into a ministerial family and into the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He comes from a relatively large family having 3 siblings: Julien, Simeon and Valeen. His journey to education took him through the St. George’s S.D.A. Primary School, the Presentation Brothers’ College and the University of the Southern Caribbean.

When he was just a toddler the calling of God to ministry was felt and seen in his life. However, he didn’t get there just so. It took God preserving, repackaging and re-preserving him to make this calling credible and it took Damieon through the “battle dome” to make his calling and election sure. It took fire, and accidents and incidents to steer his course straight. So that by the time he completed his secondary education he knew where God was leading him.

This is what Damieon has to say,

“The pathway to heaven is straight and narrow but all of us have this inclination to walk anyway but straight, Thank God for Jesus! Whose mighty hand is able to direct us aright. If through my experience I can accomplish one thing, it is this: to demonstrate and proclaim that there is indeed a “secret place” (Psalm 91). Thereto the power and promises that were evident in antiquity can be revealed as manifest in our own lives. This is why I lend my voice and support to Resurface Radio, for there is nothing more satisfying than to enter a system whose entire purpose is to lead men and women into the “secret place of the Most High” where the destination is “the shadows of the Almighty.” This thing is definitely ‘more than just music’!”

Renee Huggins

Ms. Renee Huggins is a native of Maryland. She was born and raised just 10 miles outside of Washington DC.  She is Trinbagonian by descent and has been living in Trinidad for almost three years. She’s delighted to be your local foreigner.

Renee received her Bachelors degree from Howard University and later her Masters in Social Work from Barry University.  She is a social worker by training, a teacher by nature and a Christian by rebirth.

She endeavors to blend all three dynamics into her ministry to youth and families. She is an avid supporter of abstinence and domestic violence awareness.

Ms. Huggins also loves young people, God and food (emphatically- buss-up-shut, roti, coconut drops, fruits, pone, empanadas, samosas…all of it).  But she is fully satisfied in the company of young people and the service of her Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
