Listen with your iPhone

Finally, you can listen to Resurface Radio on the move if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch using OS 2.0 or later. There are many applications (apps) available for your iPhone and now there is an app to listen to Resurface Radio.  The Shoutcast Radio app (it’s FREE) allows you to get Resurface Radio anywhere you have an internet connection. However, one thing to bear in mind when using internet on your iPhone, that is your data usage limit. If you have a limited data plan then you need to restrict your use of the Shoutcast Radio app, because internet radio use can quickly exhaust your data plan. Therefore, use the Shoutcast Radio app with your wifi connection instead. If your data plan is unlimited then you can use the Shoutcast Radio app wherever and whenever, thereby enjoying Resurface Radio all day long.

How do you get this Shoutcast Radio app? Well, it’s pretty simple. On your iPhone, open your browser and navigate to Apple’s iTunes  - http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/download/?id=299647180. Or search for Shoutcast Radio from the iTunes page. In order to download the app you must be using your iPhone or have iTunes installed on you computer. Once the Shoutcast Radio app is found tap on the download button (remember it’s free). When the download is completed tap on the install button and follow the on-screen instructions. You must agree to the terms and conditions to proceed with the installation.  Scroll to the bottom of the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and tap the ‘Agree’ button.  Once the installation is complete the Shoutcast Radio app will appear on your screen among all your other apps.

Now listen to Resurface Radio till the cows come home. To listen, tap on the Shoutcast Radio app > then tap on ‘Search’ > in the search box type ‘Resurface Radio’ > now tap on Resurface Radio in the search results to start playing the radio. There will be a star to ‘Resurface Radio,’ tapping on the star will set Resurface Radio to your ‘Favourites’ so that next time you can start it from ‘Favourites’ without the need to search again.

There you have it Resurface Radio on the go! One more thing I must let you know, if you haven’t already done it; that is, you can plug your iPhone into your car stereo and listen to Resurface Radio in your car (providing your car stereo can do this).
