I agree with Mecca’s comment. Many of us try to twist God’s hands and after making our decision ask God to make this person the right one. If we honestly prayer for guidance God usually answers our prayers and shows us things that are in the dark. We truely need to avoid the deception of this world in the choice of our mate and make not just a good-choice but a God-choice. A good choice will work some of the times but a God choice will work all the time and most importantly is a relationship for eternity.

You know we have to remember that the characteristics that we favour in a potential mate are not what God favours. The media and the society at large have really brainwashed us into thinking that all that matters in forming a relationship with someone is all external and everything else will fall into place later on. But having that deep connection or relationship with God really guides us into looking at the person’s heart. The ironic thing is when we ask God to send “that one” we turn them away because deep down we want what society has to offer and not what God wants for us. We have to trust our heavenly father and His will for our lives that even if the person isn’t that wealthy or very attractive, we trust God that he/she has a relationship with Him and is able to support and motivate you into strengthening yours with the Father. Your relationship should be one that is devoted to God in prayer. If you believe that individuals mask their true self, ask God to remove your blinders. Let us all get to the point where we put our trust fully in our heavenly father that He may guide our path to eternal life mate or no mate.

God has ways of revealing things to you, and He may reveal it in a way that maybe only you may understand. God’s timing is PREFECT, there’s no wasting timeonce God is guiding you. When that special delivery arrives, you’ll know it’s from God. Don’t lose faith.

Sister, I used to think exactly like that, “the males outside are better than the ones inside”. That is not true. Everyone has Faults, No-one is perfect and includes you and I. When the right person comes, and when I say right i mean ‘God sent’ right, you’ll know. God has ways He’ll reveal it to you and you would have never guessed it would have been through ‘that’ medium. Have patience sis. don’t rush God, Hid timing is PERFECT, even thought it may seem like He’s taking long. If you don’t wait, trust me, you’ll REGRET it (talking from experience). The ones inside are actually better than the ones outside, it may be difficult to believe. It was difficult for me to believe. But it’s true. It is actually true. Have faith sis.

Personally, I don’t think that’s possible. If you are having doubts and concerns about her, then she’s not “God sent”. God may not have given you clearance. You can also ask God to show you signs to show whether she’s the right person or not e.g. for rain to fall on a certain day or something. But if you are to do that you have to have TOTAL faith and trust in God. Trust God, He’ll come through for you.
